Anyone interested in a 1984 honda 550 converted to a 48 volt all electric bike?Licensed as a gas in Galesburg,IL.ADC 4001 motor with alltrax 4835 controller.top speed 45-50 mph but only has a range of 8-10 miles and I still don't understand why.I brought the bike to a meeting in December of 2007.It is fun to ride and very quiet.I am using 4 deep cycle 90ah batteries(so they say)from a local AutoZone.I lengthened the bike frame to accommodate the batteries.I have spent 3000 dollars in the learning process but would like 2000 for the bike as it sits now.Please email ev48volts @yahoo.com or call 309-343-0501.All proceeds will be going towards my auto conversion.Thanks,Larry Brady
