Electric delivery trucks tend to be lacking in range so far.  Cost per kwh of storage is the problem more than weight or volume in delivery trucks at least in most markets I have looked at. 

Batteries are getting cheaper so it is just a matter of time before those systems start beating diesel in real world operating cost.

Yes Jeff!  The garbage trucks too!  Anything that drives where 'lots of lungs are in use" :-)

The benefits of EVs will eventually over come the cons of ICEs especially when their prices drop and performance comes up.

And it is also good to see Ian get some "time in light" since his co-founder Elon tends to get most of it.  Both brilliant people!
