Each month, Pioneer Conversions tries to come up with a promotion for the club meeting. This month, we have even bettered last month's deal. The WarP 7 motor is on sale for $900 and the TransWarP 7 is on sale for $1100. I calculated the discount from the MSRP on the TransWarP 7 which is normally $2175, and thats 49.4% off.
These motors by themselves, are suitable only for smaller cars, or, as you will see, they make a great combination for a dragster. We plan to connect a WarP 7 and a TransWarP 7, and you'll get to see what our dragster will do with this setup. This is a weight savings of 300 or 400 lbs over our WarP 13 that we used previously. We're still discussing whether we even need to run a transmission, as this WarP 7-TransWarP 7 combo has an exceptionally high rev limit.
