Post by: tim.moore on December 10, 2009, 08:55:31 PM
If you are thinking of buying Exide batteries, please call me before you do.   I have some real world driving data that might help you decide NO or yes to Exide batteries for your EV . 708-236-0272

Please explain a bit Moore Tim :-)   Can you recommend them instead of the much more expensive Trojans, or is it less clear (mix of pros/cons).  Thx!

My son has tried them in some of his antique cars, and they have all failed early.  He is back to Delco brand batteries, and usually gets 7-9 years of use in an antique car driven 1000 miles or so a year.

I would rather not do forums on this one until I hear from Exide.
