Ed Meyer workout for the telephone company who was the largest users of battery technology, and if I am not mistaken, Ed said to charge Trojan batteries to 7.15 and equalize at 7.35. This has worked for me, despite the fact that Trojan says 7.4 and 7.8, could Ed or someone else speak to this topic. Personally, I think people are over charging and over watering their batteries.
