I just sent this message to Illinois Secretary of State.--- My new sticker will not stick to my plate. This is a first for me as I am 61 yrs old and have been placing vehicle stickers on cars for decades. I have never had this happen before. I placed the sticker inside my window on the rear vinyl of the car with clear tape. What is really surprising is this was the most expensive sticker ($251) I have ever paid for and it will not stick. I saw nothing in your FAQ's, what should I do?

As far as I know, the sticker should be applied to the rear license plate. I'm 62 years old if that's any consolation! Of

Never happened in all my years. But I did get a prompt response that they will replace it at a license facility in Northlake.

I was going to suggest that you might be able to let the sticker and plate both warm up for better chances, but you got a new one, so even better.

At least I got a chance to dig them for the expensive sticker.
