  •    120 Volt DC, ADC 9 inch motor, 35,000 original miles
  •    A rust free truck, obtained from Virginia
  •    Professional conversion
  •    WarP-Drive controller 1000 Amps, 160V
  •    Some aerodynamic aids (for increased range) have been added
  •    Original 5 speed stick, clutch has been retained.
  •    Rear window Slider
  •    AM-FM radio
  •    DC/DC 55 smp, dual stage converter
  •    Charge anywhere with Manzanita Micro Charger. PFC-30 (110 volt or 240 volt in)
  •    Charger is fully adjustable for output up to 30 amps
  •    Twenty US Battery 145 lead acid batteries installed in February 2009
  •    Range 5-10 miles (+/-) (batteries are over 2.5 years old)
  •    Asking $6,011 (less than the total price of conversion)
  •    Needs new batteries for full range. Range 25-35 miles on new batteries, depending on speed, driving style, etc.

This is priced way less than the components you would purchase for a new EV.  You could purchase a WarP-Drive controler with IM module for $2,350 and a PFC-30 charger for $2,650, and a nine inch motor for $1,900.  You would have spent $6900 (plus tax) and have yet to buy the vehicle, cables, DC-DC converter, vacuum pump, power steering pump, contactors, breakers, etc.
