Title: The Grand To-Do List for EV Conversions
Post by: ted.lowe on December 23, 2007, 09:40:38 PM
This guy at Cameron Motor Works invested a good amount of time detailing the various tasks in an EV conversion and posted this excellent comprehensive todo list:

I really like the check list, there are a number of spread sheets associated with the list that are helpful. I had one question about the cooling systems. I thought that one advantage of EV systems are that they DONT require a cooling system. Are there motors that do require a cooling system? AC motors perhaps?

Should we make this list into a hand out for the meetings?  I think it gives a new member a good understanding of the scope of a conversion project.

I believe that the internet is a great place of this info.  Printing it out may not be the most effective way to disseminate or archive it.  We might save it on a CD and make copies available.  That way it would retain the link structure.  My only concern is that for some reason this great site would be shut down.  Thanks to Ted for finding it!
