Post by: rich.carroll on June 16, 2015, 09:26:42 PM
According to Nissan, for the first time ever, used EV batteries from Leafs will be used for stationary storage.  As part of the 4R Energy Venture with Sumitomo Corp., Nissan will provide affordable lithium ion batteries for energy storage units.  The first energy storage unit will be built at a Nissan facility in California, to help offset peak energy demand.
