Title: My 1989 Toyota Tercel Conversion - Questions
Post by: geoffrey.pullinger on August 20, 2009, 04:53:07 PM
I have a couple of questions regarding my conversion of a 1989 Toyota Tercel.

1) I have a Netgain Warp 9 Impulse (very Trekkie).  On the tailshaft end of the motor there is an electrical connector (see the picture).  What is it's purpose?

This is the brush wear indicator ok - normally open.  It wasn't in my manual but it was on the NetGain website.

2) The batteries I puchased have terminals which seem to be a half of a regular standard battery post - and it would be the middle half (see the picture).   I'm thinking it would probably better to use a standard battery lug clamp rather than using the bolts provided with the batteries and blade cable lug.  Is there some kind of adapter for this or am I ok using bolt on blade lugs? Or can I just use the standard lug clamp directly?
