I didn't know Avcons come in 3 configurations.  Do you suppose the ranger & Solectria can accept any paddle?  Would 50 Hz make a difference?

By the way my Avcon has 2 of everything so one system is going into a more portable enclosure.  I'm tempted to add a lamp timer and 120v relay so I can connect the blue wire after midnight for cheaper KWh.  BTW, boss was tossing out a long 10-3 cord so I put a stove receptacle on one end and a Wadsworth Pullout disconnect cheater on the other.

Not only do AVCON come in different configurations, they come wired differently even when you order specifically.  I ordered two inlets, and specified they come with the blue pilot wire and long cabling.  I got no blue wire, but two wires that are connected to a reed switch.  I have now asked AVCON three times if they will work with stations which expect a pilot wire, but they cannot answer the question.
