Hi Folks, has anyone looked into sinewave inverters that could run off their EV's? Would make a great backup power source for the home.
in the 120VDC range.

This guy puts together kits for the Volt (and LEAF) that contains them 1000W and 1500W.

Ken, are you questioning about a 120 volt DC input inverter rather than the 12 volt DC inverters that are available most every where ??
It seems that the higher voltage units could be more efficient and maybe even more robust. John

Thanks Scott and yes John 120VDC input inverters.
Just looked at the link Scott but those are for 12VDC,
There is a company in Texas that makes them but they are pricey.
