Renewable Energy Bill

This is our chance to do something about getting this thing passed.
I'm pretty sure we're all in agreement that the future of electric vehicles is tied to good clean renewable electricity.
Let your elected officials know where you stand on this subject.
Thanks.

Hello everyone.  I am a new member.  Just had a new house built.  Geo-thermal, a 1.2 kw solar panel system on a lorentz tracker, and with a 1.2 kw turbine(grid-tied).  Clean energy goes hand in hand with the electric car.  I will be posting pictures soon.  Looking forward to coming to a meeting.  Unfortunately, we are helping others at the time due to the flooding here in the midwest.  Joe Vineyard

Hi Joe, what runs your turbine?

A dual rotor turbine.  Go to dualrotor.com to take a peak.  The solar panels sit on a lorentz solar tracker.  Unlike other turbines.  This turbines start-up speed and cut-in speed are one in the same.  Turbine manufacturers are happy to tell you the start-up speed, but are reluctant to say anything about the cut-in speed.  Cut-in is when the turbine starts turning.  Start-up is when the turbine actually start producing electricity.  Joe
