After cleaning and watering my pack, I must have forgot to tighten down one of my battery posts. It shorted out and fried the post off. Luckily, I always keep a wrench and a 2-foot jumper 2/O cable with me so I could bypass that battery. I need to fix this ASAP. I called Battery Service and Batteries Plus. Not only do neither of them fix posts, they don't even know anyone who does.....doesn't seem right.

I'll figure out how to fix it myself, unless someone knows someone in the area that does this.

Thanks,
Joe

I have had several battery posts repaired at Illinois Battery on Irving Park Rd. in Chicago. It only takes about a half hour so I just wait while they do it and if I remember correctly it cost about $8.

Thanks for the response guys. I'm going to try to get to Illinois Battery tomorrow. I already bought what I need to do it myself, but maybe I can watch and learn from the pros.
