Interesting donor car - 1995 Ford Escort

I don't know the seller, Ron Ribulotta, but he seems to have an EV interest, and this Escort is a very reasonable starting point for an EV.  He is offering a 1995 Ford Escort with a bad engine (tried to run in too deep a puddle, and hydrolocked the motor).  Details at:

Adapter plates for this Escort should be available, and it is a stick already.  The body looks reasonable from the pix on Ron's (Cruiser's) Website.

Cruiser is located in Newark, which is due west of Joliet, and about half way between Naperville and Ottawa.

Curiously, I posted this link in early September.  After no activity by anyone in the club, Steve Grushas picked up the car.  It is a nice Escort, well kept by previous owner, and Steve worked a great deal in purchasing the car.  I know Steve now has a motor adapter in hand, and plans a full conversion soon.
